Actions
Topical antibiotic, anti-inflammatory and anaesthetic.

Indications
For use in dogs, cats, horses and cattle for the topical treatment of skin conditions caused by neomycin-sensitive organisms and where anti-inflammatory and anaesthetic effect is desired. e.g Moist dermatitis, lacerations and certain skin allergies caused by susceptible organisms.

The concentration of Lignocaine in NEOCORT ensures effective numbness of affected area and thus reducing the urge of the animal to scratch.

Directions for use
Apply a thin layer of cream twice daily to the affected areas with gentle massage. Treat for a maximum of 14 days.

Composition
Lignocaine (as Lignocaine hydrochloride) 20mg/g,
Neomycin (as Neomycin sulphate) 5mg/g,
Hydrocortisone (as Hydro-cortisone acetate) 5mg/g.

Withholding period
Cattle & Horses: Meat – Do not administer later than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption. Milk – Milk collected from cows within 3 days following treatment must not be used for human consumption. This milk should not be fed to bobby calves. Any variation by the prescribing veterinarian to the approved dose, frequency, duration, route, disease or target species may result in the need to extend the approved withholding period.
