Ilium Lignocaine 20 + Adrenaline Injection Actions Produces a reversible block of nerve impulse conduction and/or prevents the generation of impulses. Produces analgesia, relaxation, hyporeflexia. The animal remains awake.
The addition of adrenaline restricts the spread of lignocaine, thus extending the duration of anaesthesia and restricting the cardiac effects.
Indications Local anaesthetic injection.
Directions for use Inject to effect via either s.c. or i.m. injection.
Maximum dose: Horses & Cattle: 200mL Sheep & Pigs: 60mL Dogs: 30mL Cats: 5mL
Presentation Injection 100mL PET.
Composition Lignocaine hydrochloride 20mg/mL, Adrenaline tartrate 0.0182mg/mL.
