Ilium Spasmogesic Actions Analgesic, antipyretic, spasmolytic injection for horses, foals and dogs.
Indications Painful conditions involving spasm of the gastrointestinal, biliary or urogenital tracts including spasmodic colic, oesophageal obstruction and enteritis with diarrhoea in horses and foals; colic, gastroenteritis with diarrhoea and vomiting, spasm of the urogenital tract and painful digestive disturbances in dogs.
Directions for use Horses: 20 - 30mL by slow i.v. injection.
Foals: 5 - 15mL by slow i.v. injection.
Dogs: 1.0 - 2.5mL s.c. or slow i.v. injection. Duration of therapeutic effect is 4 - 6 hours. Repeat 4 hourly after i.v. or 6 hourly after s.c. injections, if required.
Presentation Injection 100mL
Composition Dipyrone 500mg/mL, Hyoscine butylbromide 4mg/mL.
Contraindications Do not use with phenylbutazone, barbiturates or chlorpromazine.
Precautions Prolonged use of any NSAID’s may result in blood dyscrasia, gastric ulceration or delay in blood-clotting mechanism.
Withholding Period Meat – 28 days.
Storage Store below 30ºC (room temperature). Protect from light. Colour may change after opening but does not affect efficacy.
